District Board

The District Board of Directors is charged with providing strategic leadership, policy and direction, and fiscal oversight. Directors are elected at-large and serve four year staggered terms with elections held every two years. The President is the presiding officer, appoints committee members and liaisons, and sets Board agendas and goals.

Meeting Schedule

The Menlo Park Fire Protection District holds Board Meetings on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the classroom located at 300 Middlefield Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Committee meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month. Any exceptions will be posted on the website in advance.

The Board welcomes public comment at the beginning of each regularly scheduled Board meeting. Each person who wishes to speak must complete a Request to Speak card, which can usually be found inside of the meeting room. Each speaker will be alotted up to three minutes to speak and no action will be taken by the board.The board agenda is posted on the District's website the Thursday before the monthly board meeting. Past Agendas and Minutes can be viewed by meeting date. If you have questions about an agenda please contact the Clerk of the Board at 650.329.9266.
