In 1989 the Menlo Park Fire District assumed the responsibility
of providing aid to people using the water ways bordering the
Fire District. This decision was the driving force for the implementation
of a Water Rescue Team.
This page will provide information about the Fire District's
Water Rescue capabilities. Please check back often as new information
is provided.
After the annexing of the water ways and baylands, the District
started to form a water rescue team. In January
1991 the team activated for the first time. To
